ilmi Science Discovery & Innovation Center, one of the entities affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” launched an interactive experience titled “Journey Through Our World”, designed to engage children in a non-traditional learning experience that brings together discovery, imagination, and enjoyment, while drawing on their curiosity and ideas to shape inspiring programs and activities.

This experience reflects ilmi Center’s mission to deliver interactive educational models built with children and inspired by their interests, helping strengthen their connection with science while developing their skills in observation, experimentation, questioning, and creative thinking.

“Journey Through Our World” features a range of experiences designed to spark children’s scientific curiosity, including the “Paraglider” experience, which allows them to explore the secrets of air by building and testing their own models in a hands-on activity that combines learning, challenge, and fun.

The journey also included a virtual reality experience that transports children into the depths of the Red Sea through an interactive visual experience designed to ignite imagination and deepen their interest in the marine environment, through content inspired by children’s engagement and curiosity about the world around them.

The experience also featured the “Wheel of Curiosity,” which transforms questions into interactive challenges. Each spin of the wheel leads to a new question, and each question opens the door to experimentation and discovery, reinforcing the idea that curiosity is the beginning of learning.

The initiative focuses on the concept of participatory learning by involving children in shaping the experience, listening to their ideas, and turning their curiosity into educational activities that can be explored and applied. This reflects the Center’s approach to designing non-traditional programs that respond to the needs of younger generations.

Through this experience, ilmi Center reaffirms its commitment to providing stimulating learning environments that bring science closer to children, give them space to question and experiment, and help them build a positive relationship with knowledge through enjoyment, play, and discovery.
