ilmi Science Discovery & Innovation Center, one of the entities affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” participated in ECSITE 2026 by presenting two workshops within a global platform that brings together specialists in science museums, science communication, and the design of knowledge-based experiences.

ECSITE 2026 took place from June 2 to 4, 2026, in Gothenburg, Sweden, at Svenska Mässan – the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, hosted by Universeum. The conference brought together leading professionals and specialists in science centers, museums, science communication, and educational experience design to exchange expertise and explore future directions in public engagement with science.

The Center’s participation in the conference reaffirms its commitment to developing interactive learning experiences that inspire the next generation and strengthen the presence of science in the lives of children and youth through non-traditional educational approaches that combine knowledge, experimentation, and curiosity.

The workshops also provided participants with an opportunity for dialogue and collaboration with experts and professionals from around the world to discuss best practices in developing scientific experiences and explore ways to transform knowledge-based concepts into interactive and applicable experiences within museums and science centers.
