This participation comes as part of ilmi Center’s efforts to strengthen community engagement in programs designed to nurture the scientists and innovators of the future, through innovative educational initiatives that support a passion for knowledge and open new opportunities for Saudi youth to explore their capabilities and creativity.
The Center also provides visitors with the opportunity to ask questions and explore innovative solutions, contributing to sustainability and supporting Vision 2030’s goals of building a distinguished knowledge-based society.
ilmi Center targets children and youth aged 6 to 16, offering them a unique experience to discover themselves and strengthen their passion for the future. Guided by its motto, “Create a Scientist, Create a World,” the Center believes that younger generations are the force that will lead the Kingdom’s future, and works to empower them to face future challenges through a comprehensive educational experience built around three main interactive zones: Our World, Our Selves, and Our Inventions.
The Center’s programs are based on the STREAM methodology, which integrates science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathematics, with the aim of stimulating critical and creative thinking among visitors while focusing on contemporary topics.
It is worth noting that the total built-up area of ilmi Center exceeds 61,000 square meters, including 24,000 square meters dedicated to gardens and parks, and 8,500 square meters allocated to interactive and educational spaces.
