ilmi Science Discovery & Innovation Center, one of the entities affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” signed a Memorandum of Understanding with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, as part of its participation in the eighth edition of Misk Global Forum 2024, held under the theme “By Youth, For Youth.”
The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the two entities in scientific and research fields, contributing to the educational and interactive programs offered by ilmi Center and supporting the development of knowledge-based content built on reliable scientific foundations. This will further enhance the visitor experience across the fields of science and innovation.
This partnership reflects ilmi Center’s commitment to building an integrated knowledge ecosystem through collaboration with leading national entities in research, development, and innovation, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives to develop human capital, strengthen the knowledge economy, and equip promising generations with the tools of the future.
Areas of cooperation include leveraging scientific laboratories to support the Center’s programs and scientific materials, in addition to exchanging expertise through research and scientific publications. These efforts aim to raise the quality of educational content and deliver interactive learning experiences built on knowledge, experimentation, and exploration.
The MoU also seeks to support the development of engaging educational programs that enable children and youth to approach scientific concepts in a simplified and interactive way, connecting them to real-world applications of science and technology while enhancing their curiosity and developing their critical and creative thinking skills.
Through this partnership, ilmi Center reaffirms its commitment to expanding its educational and community impact by building strategic relationships with specialized national entities and utilizing scientific knowledge to create inspiring experiences that contribute to nurturing the scientists and innovators of the future.
