ilmi Science Discovery & Innovation Center, one of the entities affiliated with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” organized an interactive workshop titled “Journeys to the Future: Innovation from the World of Space” as part of its participation in the eighth edition of Misk Global Forum 2024, held under the theme “By Youth, For Youth.”

The workshop aimed to stimulate creativity and nurture interest in science and innovation through an interactive learning experience that enabled participants to explore concepts related to the world of space and imagine future solutions inspired by the challenges and opportunities presented by this vital field.

The workshop also provided participants with the opportunity to work collaboratively on generating ideas, discussing solutions, and applying simplified creative thinking methodologies, strengthening their ability to transform scientific concepts into ideas that can be developed and tested.

This workshop comes as part of ilmi Center’s commitment to delivering inspiring knowledge-based experiences that bring together learning, exploration, and participation. It also supports the Center’s direction to make science more accessible to the community through interactive activities that encourage attendees to ask questions, experiment, and think in non-traditional ways.

The workshop highlighted the importance of space as a field that inspires imagination and innovation, given the scientific questions and technological challenges it presents. These elements contribute to expanding participants’ perspectives and strengthening their interest in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
